Brian Robison Signs One-day Contract, Retires NFL a Viking
The day before the Minnesota Vikings welcome new teammates into the organization with the NFL Draft, one player is calling it quits.
DE Brian Robison was released by the Vikings before the start of the 2018 campaign and today he signed a one-day contract so he could retire from the NFL a member of the team he played his entire career on.
Robison entered the league in 2007 as a fourth-round draft pick and appeared in 173 Vikings games, which is third in all-time career games played by Vikings DEs, behind Carl Eller and Jim Marshall.
Brian made an emotional video of him reading a letter to the fans, the team, and his teammates that you can watch below. Good luck in retirement and SKOL!
