BBR Music Group, the record label home of Jason Aldean and more, has released a statement reflecting on the tragedy that unfolded late Sunday night (Oct. 1) and early Monday morning (Oct. 2), when a mass shooting took place at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, Nev. Those from the label who were in attendance at the event are "safe and uninjured," but the company expresses its horror that so many fans and listeners were not as lucky.

"The country music community is a FAMILY, and our listeners are part of that family. They put food on our tables and allow our artists and staff to live our dreams by going to events like last night," reads BBR Music Group's statement, signed by Jon Loba, the company's executive vice president. "While our artists and staff are safe, our hearts are broken for those listeners in our extended family who just wanted to share a night of great music and the camaraderie that is the hallmark of country music."
