Areas in Canal Park, Brighton Beach + Park Point Closed Due To Weather
The horrible weather we've had to start this week has not only produced flood and wind advisories, but now it's also caused areas in Canal Park, Brighton Beach and Canal Park to close.
According to the City of Duluth, Canal Park Drive by Morse Street and the Lighthouse parking lot by the maritime museum will be closed until further notice due to standing water in the Canal Park business district.
Brighton Beach is also temporarily closed and Harbor Drive behind the DECC is currently not accessible.
If you're feeling adventurous and want to get a look at the storm's impact on Lake Superior, be aware that the the Lakewalk Trail behind the Canal Park hotels may be partially inaccessible due to debris, so be careful. It's best to play itself and stay away from these areas until the storm passes.

The good news is that we're supposed to see sunshine on Friday, but I'll believe it when I see it.
