Adrian Peterson Avoids Jail Time with Plea Agreement

Adrian Peterson reached a plea agreement today and has pleaded no contest to misdemeanor reckless assault in the case involving Peterson whipping one of his children with a tree branch.

With this plea agreement, he will avoid jail time but will have to meet other conditions. His status with the Minnesota Vikings and the NFL is still uncertain.
