Adam Thielen and CJ Ham Back New Duluth Sports Training Center
A popular sports training program and facility that partners with Adam Thielen and CJ Ham from the Minnesota Vikings will be opening in Duluth later this month.
ETS Sports Performance Gym currently operates 10 centers in Minnesota, soon to be 12 when they open their newest locations in Forest Lake and in Duluth. The Duluth location is scheduled to open on August 29th.
ETS was founded by Ryan Englebert in 2010 and is built around his Englebert Training Systems or ETS, which he says is designed "to provide unmatched speed, power, deceleration, energy system development, movement and performance mastery training for serious athletes who were fully committed to maximizing their genetic physical and psychological potential."
Several former and current pro athletes have invested in ETS Performance including former Green Bay Packers FB John Kuhn, former Gopher and Viking Marcus Sherels, and current Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen.
Duluth native CJ Ham is listed as the Duluth "Facility Partner", not sure exactly if that's just an investor/influencer title, or if he will actually be involved hands-on in the center.
ETS works with athletes in all sports, and they work with everyone from student-athletes to Olympic Athletes, and they say they can tailor a personal plan for any skill level. Some of the programs they offer are speed training, strength training, and team training.
Minnesota isn't the only state ETS calls home, they have locations in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Iowa, they are also the official performance and training partner of the Minnesota Fury.
On their website, ETS Performance has claimed to have worked with several Vikings players including the ones mentioned above, Brian O'Neill, Garrett Bradbury, and other NFL players like Zach Line. They've also worked with Ryan Carter, Alex Stalock, and Jake Guentzel from the NHL and a handful of MLB players.
