9th Annual Love Your Local Artist Event Happens Feb 15th At Superior Library

The Superior Public Library is hosting the 9th annual 'Love Your Local Artist' event on Friday, February 15th. It starts at 5:30 and runs until 8pm on Friday evening. There will be a plethora of locally made art including fabric arts, jewelry, wood crafts, paintings, photography, recycled art, and more.

It's a free event to attend, and if you fall in love with a piece of art you can purchase it directly from the artist. There also is a silent auction to support the library, and an adopt a book fundraiser going on as well.

Be sure to also check out the restored Tony Yaworksi Murals in the meeting room. They originally are from the Essentia-St. Mary's hospital in superior, donated last year and restored by retired art teacher Bill Gedde.
