6.5 Million Pounds of Ground Beef Recalled Due to Salmonella Risk

Last month we told you about a large ground beef recall that had to do with possible E. Coli contamination. Now there is an even bigger recall underway for beef that may have been contaminated with salmonella. 57 people have already been sick from this case.

The beef is from JBS Tolleson, INC and has been sold under product names such as Cedar River Farms Natural Beef, Gourmet Burger, and Showcase/Walmart.

How do you know if you have a recalled product? You can check the product labels on the USDA website.

Look for the number EST. 267 in the USDA inspection mark to see if your product may be recalled.
