5 Things To Look Forward To In Duluth In 2019
It is crazy to think that it is already December! Time is flying by and 2019 will be here before you know it.
It has been an amazing year but I have a feeling next year will truly be one of the best years yet!
There are many reasons behind this thinking. First of all, I have declared it the year of the best country shows ever. I mean, how spoiled are we going to be for the first half of the year? So many amazing stars will be gracing us with their presence.
Not only will we get amazing shows here in the Northland, but we will see the return of other area favorite events. I also think I speak for everyone when I say I am excited to maybe have a second crack at an actual Fall next year, too.
Nevertheless, I am super excited for everything that 2019 will bring. Here are 5 reasons why you should get excited, too!
- 1
The Burning Man Tour
On March 8th, my life will peak. Country superstars Dierks Bentley and Jon Pardi will be dropping by Duluth. (In case you didn't know, Jon Pardi is my very favorite person ever.) The duo, along with newcomer Tenille Townes, will set up shop at Amsoil Arena and honestly, this lineup is so good it's crazy. We can't wait.

Luke Combs Returns To The Northland
Before he was one of the biggest names in country music, Combs played here and now, he's back as the reigning CMA New Artist Of The Year. No big deal. He'll be playing Amsoil Arena on April 11th and we DEFINITELY don't have a countdown down to the second. Just kidding. We do.

Kelsea And Brett Team Up For Double The Star Power
Amsoil Arena is going to be filled to the brim with star power next May when Kelsea Ballerini AND Brett Young take the stage. They will be in Duluth as a stop on the Miss Me More Tour and we are forever thankful they thought of us. Swoon times two. (By the way, it's never too early to start getting ready for the show.)

Another Grandma's Marathon
Grandma's Marathon is such a massive event and I absolutely love that it brings people from all over the country and the world to our beautiful city of Duluth. It truly brings out the best of the city. Plus, the celebration continues all weekend long with activities and live music. It's always a weekend to remember.

The Haunted Ship Will Return
It was a huge disappointment that the famous Haunted Ship wasn't open this year. (It was closed due to displacement during construction.) It is truly something everyone loves and looks forward to and when it reopens in 2019, I will be the first in line.
