2013 Courage Center Shoot For Fun Surpasses Goal

September 7th was the date of the annual "Shoot For Fun" event that benefits the Courage Center.   This year over $160,000 was raised for Courage Kenny  - Northland's recreation and sports programming.  Not only did it raise a lot of money, but it was a blast!  Literally.

It was the first year I participated and after as much fun that I had, I'll be sure to make it a yearly event.  Over 450 shooters participated from 88 teams, and I'd have to guess that we scored towards the bottom of that.   It was a great time.

Make plans next year to sign up and participate.   Funds raised help support children, youth, and adults with physical disabilities, vision loss, and autism spectrum disorder who participate in programs in our area.

Next year's shoot will be Saturday, September 6th, 2014.
