Each year, the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas hosts the All-American Bowl, which brings the country's best high school football players together to compete in an all-star game.

The 2024 All-American Bowl was held on Saturday, January 6 and this year one of the best high school players in America is Esko's Koi Perich and he came ready to plan.

Perich is a consensus four-star recruit and is ranked as the #1 prospect in Minnesota, the #3 safety in the nation, and the 53rd-best overall high school recruit in the country. In December, he officially committed to play for the Minnesota Golden Gophers, despite the attempts made by powerhouse programs like Ohio State and Florida State to lure him away.

On Saturday, the entire country got to see what the Golden Gophers are getting in Koi Perich when he delivered a dominating performance. Perich made a diving interception at the goal line for Team West and later blocked a punt, en route to being named the MVP of the All-American Bowl.
