The Duluth Police Department had sent out a press release asking for help in locating two missing children.  The public was asked to help with sharing any information and now the children have been found.

 

UPDATE:

The children and their mother have been located safe in Buffalo, New York. The children are currently in protective custody and arrangements will be made to return the children to St. Louis County.

The Duluth Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating these children. There is no more information available at this time.

PREVIOUSLY:

The Duluth Police Department say the two children are with a noncustodial parent against a court order. The mother is identified as 20 year old Tameicia Morris. Morris is an African-American female, 5 feet 4 inches and 135 pounds.  Morris is not believed to currently have a vehicle. She took the children for a visit against the court order and has not returned them.

The missing children's names and ages are: Shaniya Chism, 7 months old and Jameicia Chapman, 2 years old. Both children are also African-American.

It is believed that Morris and her children may be in the Duluth or St Paul areas. Both children have been entered into the National Crime Information Center database as missing children.
