A 21-year-old Portland, Oregon man who relieved himself in the Mt. Tabor reservoir last Wednesday may face serious criminal charges. The reservoir is one of the city’s main sources of drinking water and, since the water’s now contaminated, officials insist that 7.8 million gallons must be dumped.

Mother Nature threw Australian residents a curve ball Monday when four waterspouts, well, sprouted off the New South Wales coast. Cameras caught the stunning - and admittedly scary-looking - event, which occurred just north of Sydney. (A local news station claimed the spouts reached upwards of 600 meters, or nearly 2,000 feet.) Suddenly working out and training for the half marathon doesn't seem so bad!  Okay, all in moderation of course but I bet this study will be of interest to many. Beer can help someone who has sweat regan liquid better than water, the bubbles help to quench thirst and the carbohydrate in beer help replace lost calories, Spanish researchers say.

I have no idea what our cat drinks.  I assume she drinks water, but I have never seen her take a single lap out of her bowl.  I fill it up, and it just sits there.  I'm starting to think there is something freakishly wrong with this cat.  It could be the devil.
