It's the photo they waited 30 years to take (click to enlarge). Chris Bray and his father attended the first space shuttle launch back in 1981 -- and the last, just a few weeks ago. Bray posted a link to the photo on Reddit on Monday and the reaction was immediate -- almost 600 comments have been left thus far, and various media outlets have picked up the story.

The space shuttle Atlantis lifted off for its final mission Friday morning. Thousands gathered to watch the blast off, the final of the 30-year-old shuttle program, CNN reported.
