Even though snow is still expected in our area this week, a lot of people have been doing their Spring cleaning in hopes to entice warmer weather.  The City of Superior is helping by offering FREE Landfill Use Days for some items.  Other items at a minimal cost.  Here's the dates and details and keep your fingers crossed for Spring to be sprung soon!

It's been an annoying problem that we've been experiencing lately - trash scavengers.  If you take a drive down the alleys around town, you'll see them.  Our bags have been ripped open and dug through.  Who does this?  Who actually digs in garbage?  What could be of value in there?  Of course there is the concern about identify theft, so we've been shredding our bills and most mail.  How do deter

As this video begins, one is impressed with the speed with which this garbage man jumps from his truck and begins disposing of the waiting trash bags. Now that’s one dedicated civil servant. However, things quickly take a turn when his haste becomes rage and he begins smashing a trash bin on the side of his truck.

Even though today's high is only expected to reach 47 degrees (not to mention the flurries this morning), it is spring and time to clean up the yard or some accepted junk in your house.  Today the City Of Superior's public works department began  it's alley spring clean up.
