This morning as I was sitting in the studio reading about Ultra-Ever, a self-cleaning paint that could make car washes obsolete, Miranda Lambert's song Automatic was playing in my ear.  I remember when we use to have to wash our vehicles by hand!  That started to bring me back and I started thinking of things we use to HAVE to do, back when things weren't so automatic.  What do you remember?  Tell

As I was driving in this morning, there were several vehicles stuck trying to get up the hill.  Underneath the several inches of heavy snow we received is a slick layer of ice.   Definitely be careful near intersections and side streets.   Plows are out and sanding, but it may be a while before all streets are clear.  Because of this we have some school delays and closings.

It's coming!  A major winter storm with heavy winds will be here today with 6-10 inches of snow expected in the Twin Ports.  Other areas closer to Hayward could see 9-12 inches.   The scary part about this storm is the near white out conditions that are expected this afternoon.  You can keep up to date on our weather page.

Morning y'all!  Ken is still out sick.  That fever just keeps rearing it's ugly head.  He thought he might seek a doctor's opinion today (good plan since it's been almost a week now), but his typical response to my "you should see a doctor" was "I hate going to the doctor.  We all do, Kenny, we all do!  Get better and fast you're missing out on all the fun with Pick Your Seat and th

Last Thursday Ken started coming down with "something".  Friday he decided it wasn't allergies and perhaps it was a cold.  Saturday it hit him BAM!  The dreaded FLU, complete with fever and delirium. (more than usual).  He's on the mend, but since he lost his voice, he's off today.  Too bad, since we have HUGE concert announcement at 7a.  We'll carry on without him and STILL give you the

The other day I was driving over to Cathy's house and as I made my way through her neighborhood, my F-150 nearly disappeared in a giant sinkhole.  After search and rescue pulled me out, I realized it wasn't a sinkhole, but a giant pothole.   Spring is here, and after a particularly brutal winter winter, we've got some major potholes in the Northland.  So Cathy and I are asking where the worst poth
