Roundabouts are becoming more and more common on Minnesota & Wisconsin roadways. Regardless of how you feel about roundabouts, you'll need to know the proper way to yield to emergency vehicles.
The Beacon Sports Bar and Grill will be holding a unique party to honor and say thank you to the 148th Fighter Wing for their service to our country. There will be specials throughout the night, and Military folks are encouraged to bring their I.D. and save $1 a beer.
There are exercises taking place now in South Korea at Osan Air Force Base. It's called an Elephant Walk, and it's to show combat readiness. The planes align themselves on the runway. It's a pretty cool sight. Some of the F-16 fighters shown along with the A-10 thunderbolts are from the 148th!
The week of April 10th, the Duluth-based 148th Fighter Wing will be deploying twelve F-16s and 300 Airmen to Osan Air Base, about 40 miles south of Seoul, South Korea.
The Minnesota Twins will have their home opener on Monday, April 11 against the Chicago White Sox. They have a lot of great things planned at Target Field including a flyover by the Duluth-based 148th Fighter Wing of the Minnesota Air National Guard. If you plan on going, plan on getting there early to enjoy it all.
