An ATV was recently stolen from Hibbing, Minnesota, and on Wednesday, June 21, the Bayfield County Sheriff's Office says it was spotted in the area and now they reaching out to the public for help.

According to their Facebook post, the ATV fled from City Of Bayfield police and Bayfield County Deputies Wednesday at around 2:00 p.m. It was last seen in the Star Route / Butterfield Road area.

When it fled the police, it was being driven by a middle-aged male with long dark hair and a baseball cap. The ATV in question is a 2019 Polaris General that is orange and white in color. Stickers on the rear of it are "3JD72" with the words Duluth.

Bayfield County Sheriff's Office is asking for people in the area to keep an eye out for this stolen ATV. It could be spotted driving on the side of the road, on ATV trails, parked outside an area business or residence, or even being hauled on a trailer by another vehicle.
