An annual summer tradition returns in 2022 when Hairball plays Duluth's Bayfront Festival Park and new this year is a VIP Experience that fans can purchase.

The Duluth Entertainment Convention Center made the initial concert announcement Monday morning on their official Facebook page, while at the same time teasing that something new was happening with the show.

Party In The Park with Hairball is set for Sunday, July 3. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 29. However, the DECC announced there is a social media presale that everyone can take advantage of.

Shortly after making the initial concert announcement, the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center announced there was a "significant enhancement:" to the Hairball experience available to fans.

That significant enhancement is a Hairball VIP Experience which includes:

  • Front of stage access
  • Private VIP bar access
  • Private restrooms
  • VIP Lounge Area on Stage Right

This is a similar experience than what can be purchased at other Bayfront Festival Park events, including Bayfront Country Jam which is July 1 with headliner Jake Owen.

While all tickets are general admission, paying extra for the VIP Experience could be worth it for the VIP bar and bathroom access alone. Anyone who has seen Hairball at Bayfront in past years know the lines to each of those can be quite lengthy and time consuming.

Joining Hairball on the Bayfront Festival Park stage on July 3 will be Chris Kroeze (The Voice Top 4 Finalist), Bad Girlfriends and Disco Kingz.

Gates are scheduled to open at 3:00 p.m. and the music starts at 3:45 p.m.
