It's been 3 days since the torrential rain caused historic flooding and dam breaks in Northwest Wisconsin.  Many roads were closed after flooding and some washouts, and many remain closed.  Where's the best place to get information? Wisconsin Department of Transportation has an emergency travel alert page that provides updates.

You can find the page here.  As of yesterday afternoon, many county highways were still closed.  It will be quite some time before we can get back to normal travel as there will be extensive road work needed to be done.

Here's just an example from one FB user on the extent of the damage on Highway 35 near Foxboro.
