On Thursday, April 27, Lake Superior College will present their 14th annual Battlebot Competition where student-built robots will use weapons like moving blades and heavy drop-down hammers to battle until there's just one battlebot standing.

The tournament will be held from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. in LSC's Duluth Downtown Center, 120 N. Second Avenue West.

According to LSC, robots designed and manufactured by LSC Integrated Manufacturing students will battle to the end in a double elimination tournament. Regional high schools, including Mesabi East, Cromwell/Wright and Marshall will also battle with a total of approximately 14 robots competing for survival.
