Attention Parents – I Had No Clue Kwik Trip Sold This Jalapeno Flavored Product
I stopped at Kwik Trip so much that my year-end badge from the rewards app was Faithful 'Tripper. In case you didn't know, at the beginning of the year Kwik Trip sends you stats about your visits from the previous year if you use your rewards card.
A lot of my trips are for lunch. There's always something available to grab n go with. When my kids are at home, I'll call ahead and see what they want from Kwik Trip. The order is always the same: Bacon Cheeseburger for my son, and corn dog and mac n cheese for my daughter.
So last time I went I grabbed the corn dog, bacon cheeseburger, mac n cheese, and a couple of roller bites for myself and headed home.
The kids started eating their lunch when my daughter looked at me and said there's something wrong with this corn dog. How could something be wrong with their corn dogs?

She said it was spicy and she didn't like it. That's when I realized that Kwik Trip sells Jalapeno Cheddar corn dogs, and when you're in a hurry and don't know that mistakes can happen.
I had never seen them before, and when I saw the corn dog wrapper in the hot case I just grabbed it and didn't think twice.
Even though my daughter likes flaming hot Cheetos, this was a pass for her. I made it up to her. We went back and got the right Honey Battered corn dogs and I even treated her to a F'real. She loves those darn things.
