I LOVE reminiscing about places we USE to have in Duluth/Superior….there’s nothing like sitting around with a group of friends saying “Remember the…..”? Then, the stories start! When you’re done reading this blog, tell me what YOU miss/remember in the Twin Ports. Make me say ” I remember that!”  Do you remember these businesses?

Mr. Bulky's In The Miller Hill Mall

I remember the day I first walked into the Mr. Bulky's store in the Miller Hill Mall.  Talk about a kid in AWE!  Every imaginable candy was at our finger tips in BULK!  Just grab a plastic bag and fill er' up.  Jelly Bellies had just come out.  Remember, bubble gum, popcorn and even puke and booger flavors?  Licorice, chocolate, nostalgic candy, whatever your hearts desire.  Miss that place :(

    The Pop Shoppe

I remember the Pop Shoppe Pop Store in Cloquet, so many flavors to choose from and weird flavors too!  That’s what made it so fun!!  My favorite was pineapple.

My Mom and I would lug the red plastic bin with the empties back to the store to get our five cents back and I would get to pick out another 24 flavors.  Definitely a highlight in my childhood, is that sad?  What was your favorite flavor?
