This Amazing Wisconsin Bloody Mary Is Like Going To The Fair

By the most basic definition, a bloody mary is simply "a cocktail consisting essentially of vodka and usually spiced tomato juice." Of course, there are now many creative bloody mary variations everywhere.

One recent example for me was when a co-worker told a group of us that she had tried a spicy bloody mary that had basic things like a beef stick, cheese, and celery, but the twist was that instead of vodka, they used Jägermeister, and she loved it.

Now, I don't mind Jägermeister, but my initial reaction was that using it in a bloody mary would be disgusting. The bartender overheard our conversation and gave us all a shot of their bloody mary mix combined with Jägermeister. You know what? It was really good and you should try it!

My point is that for most people a bloody mary is a lot more than just vodka and tomato juice. It's that and a lot more put into a glass and some places go over the top with what they'll add to it. One such place is in Superior, Wisconsin.
