Round Two: Another Winter Storm Coming For MN, WI
Well, it looks like right as we dig out from this week's winter storm, another one is right on its tail. Yet another winter system is headed our way!
As you're reading this, you're probably hunkered down in your house or office. We saw quite a bit of snow across the Northland with our first winter storm of the season this week.

In fact, we got so much snow with this first storm of the season that the Weather Channel even came to Duluth! They were spotted going live right outside our station in downtown Duluth, which is pretty fun.
Maybe they will be back this weekend, as that is when another storm is expected to impact Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Another Snow Storm Set To Hit Minnesota + Wisconsin This Weekend
This one doesn't look to be nearly as bad, especially for northern Minnesota, as the one we saw Tuesday and into today. However, if you are traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday, the timing will be less than ideal.

A meteorologist named Ryan Hall shared a short and sweet video detailing the impending winter storm, stating it will hit several states. The storm is expected to hit Friday (November 28th) and continue into the weekend.
He also shared that it will be followed by dangerously cold temperatures next week, which really does not sound fun at all. I will take snow a million times over an arctic blast but this is just winter in our region.

This storm will intensify on Saturday, especially over the Great Lakes. However, the southern part of both Minnesota and Wisconsin will be hit hardest. We could see anywhere from four to eight inches of snow, with some potentially higher amounts. Yikes!
Not only did we see travel impacts getting to our destinations this week but it looks like we will be having great travel impacts heading home as well. Stay safe out there!
We will definitely be learning more closer to the weekend. Right now, we're all still digging out from our first storm of the season.
