Willie Kruger loved watching kids of all backgrounds dance together, John D'Auria honors that dream with this competition.

The Willie Kruger Dance Competition will be held at Grandma's Sports Garden Sunday November 11th with sign up from 11:30 am to 1 pm. Then Competitions from 2 pm to 6 pm, this is a free event to the public, they just ask that you bring new or used Hats, Gloves, Mittens, and Scarves to the dance competition. They will be donated directly to people who need them from Hats and Mittens for the Homeless.

The 8th Annual Willie Kruger Dance competition is an open style dance competition for all styles to come and compete against each other it is for ages 9-up and the age groups are 9-11, 12-14, 15-17, 18-up and group competition and the group has to have at least 2 dancers but not more than 10 dancers.

You will come out in a showcase fashion dance in front of a panel of three judges and will be scored up to a maximum of 50pts per judge with a perfect score being 150pts, the two top dancers or groups in their category with the highest combined scores will compete against each other for 1st and 2nd place.

There will be 30-minute intermission which will include guest performer Jodie Meunier from Flipside. There will also be a dance performance to open the show by dancer Samia Smith.

Your judges include Darren Franco, Michelle Ware, and Mark Pogorelskin, Your MC is Ant Jonez and your DJ is DJ Prolific. Please bring your music on USB drives if possible, we would prefer no phones if you can help it.

Registration is from 11:30am-1pm please give your music to the DJ at registration. You will find all the rules on the Willie Kruger Dance Competition page.
