I'm really excited to see Rogue One: A Star Wars Story tonight at the premiere.  However, I'm worried that I may have my hopes set too high because of all the positive things that have been said.

Early reviews from critics have gone as far to say it's the best Star Wars film yet.  George Lucas even gave it a thumbs up.  Sometimes I set my hopes a little too high, so we'll see what happens.

Here's some must haves that the movie needs to deliver:

-A truly scary Darth Vader scene.  I want some force chokes, intimidation, and all around bad assery from Vader!

-Characters I care about.  I'm sure some of them will die.  We already know from Episode IV A New Hope that many people died to get the plans for the Death Star.  I want these characters to have heroic, meaningful deaths.

-Gritty battle scenes.  The trailer shows lots of intense battle scenes.  I don't want to be disappointed.

-Never scene before views of the Death Star.  We have the technology now to spiff up the Death Star imagery.  I hope to see some pretty cool shots of this.

I've got high hopes, and rebellions are built on hope.  Sorry I couldn't resist.
