It's been nearly two years since the Superior Belknap Super One store closed.  It was a place that I did most of my grocery shopping at, and came to love the store.  Now it sits empty after Super One closed that location after opening the brand new store in East End.  I still really think there could be a good business opportunity for that space in Belknap.

Another grocery store would be ideal, but that's unlikely to happen.  Super One is really the only name in town, and with Aldi's now open there's just too much competition for another grocer.

With Target & K-mart leaving town, it may be a nice location for a hometown style retail store.  There isn't any options for buying anything now in Superior other than Walmart.   Perhaps that would be a good idea.

Another popular idea among us Superior residents in the office is a family fun experience venue.  Think of it as a smaller 'adventure zone."  Something like an indoor play area that could be really helpful for families with kids who want to burn some energy off in the cold winter months.

Either way, it would be nice to see some sort of business back in the Belknap Plaza.  With Target and Kmart closing there is plenty of empty storefronts already in Superior.
