The cafe that took over the old Randy's location in the West End part of town could be closing.

According to DNT, they made a call to the cafe after rumors started that the cafe was closing. The woman confirmed that the last day would be Sunday, February 24th, 2019.

The building also houses Twin Ports Boxing and an office space. President and CEO of the Duluth Children's Museum, Cameron Kruger, said the organization is considering on purchasing the building.

Randy's was absolutely my favorite place to get breakfast in the area. The service wasn't always the best, but it added to the charm and the place was always packed whenever I went. Plus, the food was generously portioned and tasted great!I was devastated two summers ago when the lights were shut off and closed. Lincoln Park Cafe was a great addition to the neighborhood and now I'm bummed that is closed too.

I wonder what will happen to the building? Maybe the Duluth Children's Museum will buy it and turn it into another fun place for kids to grow and learn.
