RuPaul’s Drag Race Tour Coming To The Northland

It's been a busy year of events at Black Bear Casino Resort! The venue has had a ton of great comedy shows and concerts this year and they just keep adding more to their event calendar.

In May, they announced that comedian Matt Matthews would be coming to the venue for a comedy show later this year. He has a huge social media following so I am sure it will be a sellout!

Before that, we have famous comedian Jo Koy taking the stage. He will be bringing his own brand of comedy to the stage in August. He's been to Duluth before and had a blast, even if it was in the dead of winter.

Now, a different kind of entertainment is coming to Black Bear. This is the first show that has been announced for 2027 so save the date for Friday, March 26th. We are off to a great start.

RuPaul Fans, Get Ready: A Special Anniversary Tour Is Coming To The Northland!

Fans of RuPaul's Drag Race will love this! To celebrate ten years of taking this show on the road (literally), the 'Werq The World News' Tour will be trekking all over the country, including a stop right here in the Northland.

This tour is huge, with more than 50 shows across the whole thing. We all know that the news cycle is a lot over the past few years and that's why some of your favorites from the show will be reporting it their way, in their own signature style.

The 'broadcast' will be hosted by Asia O'Hara, who fans of the show will recognize. This will include everything you've come to expect from your average newscast: sports, weather, breaking news and more. Of course, all is done with comedy and spectacle, according to the official presser for the tour.

Doors for the show open at 7 p.m. The show kicks off at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale on Thursday, June 18th at 10 a.m. and can be secured in person at the Épique Rewards Counter or via the official Black Bear website. What a fun start to the new year!
