Soak in this nice little heat wave while we have it because change is coming. I mean, it is only February after all.

It was very warm on Monday (February 24th) all across Minnesota and it felt really nice here in the Northland, with temperatures reaching the 40s and even 50s in some spots.

Don't let this warm streak fool you, though. Again, it's only February which means we definitely have more winter to endure.

One weather analyst is doubling down on this fact, sharing his prediction for when we will see out next winter storm in the Duluth area.

The weather analyst runs a hugely popular social media account called Midwest Weather. He shared this prediction on Monday, as we were in the throws of a very spring-like day in our neck of the woods.

According to his post, we can expect to see a 'winter storm or two' between March 3rd and the 18th. We have had a very mild winter yet again so it wouldn't surprise me if one or two more winter storms snuck in before spring arrives.

Spring Is Near

The good news? Midwest Weather also says that after we pass that period, it is looking like spring will move in, with similar conditions to what we are seeing at the moment.
