One of my favorite annual events is the Bayfield Apple Festival.  It of course was cancelled for 2020, and was actually cancelled very early into the pandemic.  I didn't normally spend a lot of time there but it was a yearly tradition.  I would head up early on a morning, stuff myself with apple everything, grab a bag of apples and cider, and head home.  If you're missing that like I am, there is another event you might want to check out.

Salem Church is having their 6th annual Apple Festival and Craft Sale on Saturday, October 24th.  It of course won't be as scaled up as the Bayfield Apple Festival, but they will still have plenty going on to check out.

It will be open from 9:00AM-3:00PM and it's free to get in.  Due to the COVID-19, the event will be largely outdoors, so make sure you dress accordingly.  At it, you'll find items for sale from area crafters, food producers, and various other items.  You'll of course be able to purchase delicious apple items too.  There will be apple brats, cider, and other specialty apple creations.

For this event, there will also be a indoor portion and that capacity will be limited to 25 percent.  Regardless of outdoors or in, face coverings will be required.  They will also have hand-sanitizing stations available too.  Salem Lutheran Church is located at 4715 Hermantown Road in Hermantown, MN.
