Watch Moose Kisses + Other Animal Reactions To Trail Camera In Northern Minnesota

A Northern Minnesota organization put a trail camera in what appears to be a pretty high traffic area for animals. A bunch of different species of native animals to Minnesota showed up, including bobcats, deer, bears, and more. Check out these amazing photos.

The images and video were captured by Voyageurs Wolf Project. They are an organization that studies wolves in the Voyageur's National Park. Researches set up trail cameras in different areas across the park, hoping to capture images and data about wolves. Most of the videos they post are of wolves and pups. This time they showed all the other animals that strolled by this camera in 2023. Some of them investigating the camera itself.

There were a lot of bobcats seen in the area.

One was a bobcat with her young. That was cute to see. Don't be fooled though. Bobcats can be vicious. Did you know that bobcats can actually take down a deer? They are a natural predator of deer. They wait until the deer passes below them, while they hide in the tree. They jump down on the deer and kill them. Sorry, that got dark. It's nature though.

Lots of animals showed up on camera, but not many wolves in this area.

Some of the animals notice the camera. Voyageurs Wolf Project said that bears can be disruptive to the camera and mess with them. This guy was getting a little aggressive with the camera.

If you've never seen a moose in person in Minnesota, you just don't realize how massive of an animal they are. This bull moose came right up to the camera and you can just tell how enormous he is. He doesn't even fit in the frame!

This moose was curious, but respectful of the trail camera. He came right up to it!

Bullwinkle here got so close to the camera that he gave it a gentle "nose-boop" and kind of slimed the camera with his nose kiss.

You can see vaguely through the smudge that another moose came up too!
