Walmart Making A Change, Including Northland Stores

The super huge Wal-Mart Stores chain is changing it's name. Is it because of all those people of Wal-Mart posts you laugh at on facebook? No!

After using the name for 47 years, the chain is shifting it's focus a little and the name change will help. Wal-Mart is going to be Walmart, without the hyphen, and it's dropping its "Stores" off of the signs too.

Will that change anything you love about the chain or are they defecting from the company and trying to distance themselves from Sam's Club? No.  Have you noticed that some of them if not most of them have changed some of their inside and outside signage? No.

Walmart says the only change will be in name only the great service and prices will stay the same.
