Volunteers Still Needed for 2017 Grandma’s Marathon

If the only time you run is when you're being chased, you can still participate in Grandma's Marathon weekend in Duluth.  There are still several volunteer opportunities available for the race and volunteering can be a lot fun.

Grandma's Marathon currently needs volunteers in the following areas:

• Water stations
• Traffic and spectator control
• Finish area activities
• Racecourse entertainment
• Medical services

As a runner of the Gary Bjorklund Half Marathon, I truly appreciate every volunteer and understand the vital roles they play throughout race weekend.

If you can volunteer, you will receive:

• An official Grandma’s Marathon T-shirt
• Refreshment tickets
• Invitation to the special Grandma's Marathon Volunteer Appreciation Party
