It has been reported that three Tennessee Titans players and five members of their staff have tested positive for COVID-19. According to the statement, both clubs are working closely with the NFL and the NFLPA along with infectious disease experts to evaluate who came into close contact with these positive cases. They will then determine who needs additional testing, and monitor developments. They say any decisions made will be with health and safety as their primary consideration. The NFL & NFLPA promise to share updates as more information is available.

The NFL protocol for COVID-19 includes daily testing for players and staff that are in close contact. If someone tests positive, they immediately need to isolate themselves in a separate room from other people, wear a mask, and be transported home to quarantine as soon as possible.

We will continue to monitor the situation and update you if any other players or staff on either team test positive.
