The National Football League has flexed the Vikings November 18 game at Solider Field to reach a prime time audience.  The Vikings game versus the Bears will now kickoff at 7:20 p.m.

The game, originally scheduled for noon, features the Vikings and Bears with first place in the NFC North up for grabs.  While this is good for the NFL, it makes this game an even bigger challenge for the Vikings as the Bears will be treating this like their Super Bowl.  The Vikings will need to bring the intensity of a a playoff game as the Bears certainly will.

The Sunday Night Football game was originally supposed to be the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Jacksonville Jaguars, but with Jacksonville off to a messy slow start to the season, they moved that game back to a noon start.

In related news, the the Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans Saints contest will move from a noon kickoff to the 4:25 p.m. time slot.
