Price hikes are nothing new these days. I'd say we have all grown accustomed to the price of things going up at this point, right?

Just last month, prices went up at Olive Gardens across Minnesota and Wisconsin, which hit particularly hard because we all love their breadsticks. Ha!

Unfortunately, this is just the first price hike for the chain, as the CEO recently shared that prices would continue to go up slowly over the next year. Sigh.

That's just how things are right now so the fact that the USPS is raising prices on a few things now isn't that surprising.

The good news is that these price hikes aren't going to break the bank in a big way. However, these slight price changes are just one more thing that will add up slowly over time.

You probably already know by now that stamps are increasing in price this month. The first class Forever stamps will go up to 73 cents a stamp beginning on Sunday, July 14th.

Forever stamps aren't the only thing seeing a price hike. Single-piece letters, per the USPS website, will increase four cents per additional ounce. Now, the cost will be 28 cents per ounce instead of 24 cents.

Last but not least, the cost of international postcards and international one ounce letters will go up ten cents. Now, you'll have to fork out $1.65 to send either, instead of the $1.55.

Like I said, we are used to price increases at this point. This is all part of the USPS Delivering For America plan, which is a ten-year plan to help their operations run smoother in every way post COVID-19.

Minnesota UPS Driver's Terrific Work Memes Will Make You Laugh

Every job has its ups and downs, but the key is trying to keep a fun attitude through it all. That's just what one Duluth-based UPS delivery driver has done and the memes he while on the job are not only very funny, but they are something everyone can relate to regardless of their profession.

Mike is a Duluth area delivery driver who decided to keep track of things he sees and hears while out on his route. He then captured a few classic reaction pictures of himself which are a perfect fit.

We salute all the delivery drivers out there working hard around the clock and year-round!
