United States Women Lose 2 Goal Lead as Canada Claims the Gold
The United States women's hockey team held a 2 goal lead with just over 3 minutes remaining in the gold medal game, but Canada rallied to force overtime and then take home the gold.
Canada's Marie-Philip Poulin not only tied the game with under a minute remaining, but she won the game at 8:10 of overtime. This heartbreak makes it the third time in five Olympics that the United States will take home the silver medal in women's hockey.
Hopefully the United States men can get revenge and defeat Canada Friday and advance to the gold medal game.
