UMD Offering Fun And Safe Environment For Halloween Celebrating
UMD normally has what they call their "Haunted Halls" every Halloween season but this year their event is titled Boo-M-D. The event offers a fun and safe place for kids to trick or treat.
Boo-M-D takes place in the Kirby Student Center and is easy to navigate without requiring a map to find all the candy you can handle. They will also have various booths with activities such as face painting, games, and lots of candy while be hosted by UMD students, student organizations, and University departments. It's also free and open to the public. You can however bring gently used winter clothing as a donation for UMD students and the Damiano Center.
Boo-M-D has parking available in Parking Lot E which is located off Kirby Drive near the Kathryn A. Martin Library. 102 Kirby Drive is the official address and it all happens from 4:30PM-6:00PM on Tuesday the 30th, the day before Halloween.
