Traffic Advisory: Live Fire Training Exercises May Affect Your Travel

Our public services are in continual training mode to keep up to date on the latest knowledge to keep us safe.  Many times you'll see them training in the community because it provides them with real life training situations.  One such training will be starting today and continue through the end of the month.  It will affect travel near the Miller Hill Mall.

Here's where the training will take place in more detail.

On June 17, 26, 27, and 30, the Duluth Fire Department will be conducting Live Fire Training Exercises in the 1600 and 1700 blocks of Sundby Road in the Miller Hill area.

Training will begin at 9am and continue until  5pm each pf the dates listed above. Sundby Road will be closed to vehicle traffic from Page Street (just above Burning Tree Rd) to Miller Creek Drive. Access to the Miller Creek Townhomes will be from Haines Road.

Please do not travel to that area to view the training.  Motorists driving in the area of training should be aware of no through traffic on Sundby Road.
