When I was young and in need of a Halloween costume it was either begged for and [borrowed or I had to dig through my grandma's or mom's closet and make due.  That isn't the case anymore, now there are many options for people to search and come up with the perfect costume complete with props to make your Halloween costume of choice, contest ready.  Here are my favorite four stores to visit for ideas.

What are you going to be for Halloween this year?  If you have kids it's twice as hard to come up with their costumes and yours.  Hopefully these stores can help you make some decisions.

    Northland Party

Northland Party Store at 5009 Matterhorn Drive has the best shoes around Halloween time.  I bought a pair I used the rest of the year.  They have so many costumes, make-up, props and of course, everything you need to throw an incredible Halloween party!

    Ragstock

Ragstock is a store in downtown Duluth at 9 W Superior Street that I frequent year round.  Of course, during the weeks of the Halloween holiday the store becomes more focused on costumes, but I can't help but shop for both outfits and a Halloween costume when I'm there.  They also have great recycled clothes too!
