Toddler Taken to Hospital After Being Slashed by Pizza Cutter During Assault at Rochester Child Care Center
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Minnesota woman is in custody after she allegedly cut a toddler with a pizza cutter at a Rochester child care center.

That’s according to Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson.
Officers responded to the assault report around 2:45 Thursday afternoon. Police were advised that two female employees had gotten into a fight.
Toddler Taken to Hospital After Being Cut With Pizza Knife by Employee at Rochester Child Care Center
The alleged assault occurred at the KinderCare Learning Center at 1815 Greenview Pl. Southwest.
Grayson says one of the employees at the child care center had assaulted another employee’s toddler with a pizza cutter. No other injuries were reported.
The child suffered a laceration and was transported from the scene for further medical care, according to the police report. The child’s age and current medical condition are not available.
Officers identified the suspected assailant as 26-year-old Andrianna Newburn. Grayson says officers found and arrested the Pipestone woman nearby.
Olmsted County Adult Detention Center records indicate Newburn was booked into the jail shortly before 4:30 p.m.
Newburn faces felony assault charges, Grayson says. She is awaiting her first appearance in Olmsted County Court
