The Minnesota State Fair is many things. Fun, eventful, filling and tiring all come to mind.  Tonight in the Grandstand things get a little weird as "Weird Al" Yankovic takes the stage.

"Weird Al" Yankovic is the biggest-selling comedy recording artist in history, earning four GRAMMYs and 15 career nominations.  Tonight, his Strings Attached Tour promises "a high-energy rock and comedy production featuring his original band, costumes, props, a video wall and - for the first time - background singers and a full symphony orchestra".

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. show and tickets are still available for $31.  Click here to get your tickets today.

It's also Military Appreciation Day.  Look for activities, educational booths and entertainment at Dan Patch Park saluting military organizations in Minnesota.

You and your family can also enjoy Early Bird Specials until 1:00 p.m. at the Mighty Midway & Kidway.
