The Tribute Fest Starts Thursday With Country Night, Raises Money For Vets
The Tribute Fest is back this year with another three days of concerts at Bayfront Festival Park! Not only is it a great music event, but it also raises money for Homeless Veterans with MACV.
It all begins with the country themed tribute night on Thursday. Whiskey Trail takes the stage at 3pm, and you know they put on a good show.
Next at 4:30 the Minneapolis based Shalo Lee Band brings their southern rock flavored music to bayfront. Shalo Lee is a critically acclaimed singer/songwriter who brings a prefect blend of original songs with electrically charged covers through the show.
And the headliner for Thursday night brings tribute to some of the biggest stars in country. 'Country Artists Tribute' is an all hits tribute band to three major country artists: Eric Church, Kenny Chesney, and Toby Keith.
The fun continues with Rock Tributes on Friday and Saturday night as well.
You can get tickets ahead of time at The Electric Fetus, and Beaner's Central. There also is a sock drive, where if you bring in a package of three or more pairs of socks, you get $5 in club cash at Fon Du Luth Casino. You can bring the socks to the festival, or the casino.
And once again, a portion of all proceeds goes to homeless and jobless veterans.
