With Boo at the Zoo coming up this weekend and next, decorating has begun at the Lake Superior Zoo.  That's why a giant pumpkin will be delivered today and you're invited to watch and ask questions!

The zoo, at 7210 Fremont Street in Duluth, will open at 9:45 to accommodate all that wish to view the delivery of the monstrosity.

Where was this pumpkin grown?  In Duluth Township by a gentleman named Danny Tanner who is a pumpkin growing enthusiast.    He will be there at 10am today.

The plan is to have this pumpkin the centerpiece for the Boo at the Zoo pumpkin patch, a favorite photo opportunity for kids of all ages. It is expected to weigh in at 300 pounds and will require great effort and care in order to safely place it.

After the delivery, Mr. Tanner will be prepared to answer questions about growing giant pumpkins.

The public is invited to attend.  Remember, doors open at 9:45 and the pumpkin will be delivered at 10 sharp...don't be late!
