The American Kennel Club (AKC) has announced the most popular dog breeds of 2016, and the top dog remains unchanged since 2013.

Congratulations to the Labrador Retriever, once again ranked #1 as America's most popular breed.  The top few dogs haven't changed in the last few years, as the German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Bulldog, and Beagle round out the top 5.
