Take A Look Inside This Abandoned Minnesota Amusement Park

The abandoned amusement park in Minnesota was once home to a nice go-kart track, a mini golf course, bumper boats, and a sweet arcade. Take a look at it now.

I miss the days growing up and begging my dad to go to Grand Slam in Canal Park. So many fond memories of bumper cars, the giant tree house, laser tag, and the unforgettable giant mini-golf castle. Unfortunately, it no longer exists like another fond childhood Duluth memory like the wooden castle playground at Bayfront.

Abandoned places have always interested me. You can also check out one of the most mysterious landmarks in Duluth. The building called Uncle Harvey's Mausoleum lies on the shores of Lake Superior near Duluth's Lakewalk. You can also take a peek inside the first lighthouse in Minnesota. It was built in Duluth back in 1858, you can see inside its current run-down state here.

Do you remember Gasoline Alley that was located at 10254 Central Avenue North East in Blaine, MN? I went there a few times in the 90s, but I remember hearing some great stories from the 80s. I just remember being in awe at the fact that they had bumper boats.

Gasoline Alley unfortunately closed down in 2001. About 15 years after closing, the go-kart track, bumper boats, and miniature golf course were removed. Check out how the go-kart track looked 10 years after it closed:
