Have you ever wondered what the law is regarding consuming alcoholic beverages in a State Park in Minnesota or Wisconsin. The rules between the states vary.

Both Minnesota & Wisconsin offer apprentice hunting licenses so you can try out hunting relatively easily.

Every June Wisconsin offers a free weekend where they waive fees from June 4th-June 6th.  This weekend you can fish without having to get a license.  You can also visit the State Parks without paying the normal fees.  You can also ride the many ATV trails for free as well!

Amnicon Falls State Park is up against 16 other Wisconsin State Parks with head-to-head competition.  If you've been there, you've already enjoyed all that nature and the state of Wisconsin has to offer.  If you haven't, you now have a destination for the family to check out.  Either way, Amnicon State Park needs your votes!

We are definitely going to have another solid few weeks of ice fishing.   I'd even venture to guess with current ice conditions we could be fishing into April.  ( As always, be careful... ice can break up fast once it warms up.)  However, if you're planning on fishing past this Friday in Minnesota, you're going to need to renew your license.
