Wednesday Night at the Races

The popular Wednesday night gathering for kids 14 and under will be held at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex.

Due to the weather, Grandma's Marathon and the Young Athletes Foundation have canceled their popular Wednesday Night At The Races For Proctor.

Wednesday Night at the Races begins this Wednesday, July 25 in Duluth and all children 14 and under are invited to participate each and every week.

Wow!  Hard to believe we are down to the last Wednesday Night At The Races, where has the summer gone?  Plan on spending the evening this time because following the races it will be the end of the season picnic (please note location change).

Wednesday Night At The Races continues tomorrow with the Young Athletes Foundation and Grandma's Marathon.   This is the last one of the regular weekly series before the final races and the end of the year picnic.  This week's location can accommodate a wheelchair division!  Children 14 and under are invited to lace up their shoes and take part again this year.

Tonight the Wednesday night at the Races for tonight, citing the inclement weather and unfavorable course conditions. The event was to take place at Duluth's Lincoln Park Middle School.  The plan is to continue the rest of the schedule.

For many families this is a second go round with the Insane Inflatable 5K Course, maybe this is your first.  If it is, talk to the families about their experience last year and watch the faces of your kids this year, you'll see ultimate joy as they master the course with zeal.  If you find they enjoy this activity, why not continue their quest for running and racing?
