I guess it's that time of year. I tell you of the IRS scams in February and May, now that we're on the cusp of summer I need to share info about blacktop scams. Honestly, you really can never let your guard down, you never know where the next scam will hit you!
I'm sure you can come up with lots of things to add to my list. Or maybe crazy things your mom told you to be careful of that were myths, like waiting 30 minutes after you eat to go swimming.
My friend Sandy in FL told me about these Quiet Moments calming treats and swore they worked. I had looked at the local department stores we frequent and couldn't find it. I figured I'd have to go to a local pet specialty store, but before we did we were camping and ran across a pet store that had them. My experience is a review that will lend as a warning.

Tourists are at a minimum and kids are back in school, but we want all to be save so I feel I should pass this important info along from the Duluth Fire Department. They have issued a dangerous swimming conditions warning until 10a today.
It's Labor Day Weekend. For many that means one last chance to go to the cabin, go camping, or spend some time on the beach before we get into the Fall grind of school, college, becoming chauffeur to our kids and their activities. (although the weather this weekend has been less than co operable). For those choosing the beach option, the conditions have worsened due to the wind and that has prom
